Everything is coming together

Although the fields are under two feet of snow – the seed order has arrived and the seasonal  supplies are on the way. Everything is looking good for the season ahead.

CSA shares (Community Supported Agriculture) will be for sale shortly – check this blog for updates. The cost for a full 22 weeks of fresh produce will be $625 (including delivery to an as of yet undetermined location in DC). If all goes according to schedule, the first share will be delivered on Tuesday June 1, 2010. I can’t wait!

  1. Are you aware of the folk tale from the old country about beginning a farm business during a season of the greatest snow accumulation in recorded history? It is said to guarantee bumper crops of tasty produce well beyond the imagination and good health for all who consume its bounty. Sign me up!

  2. I am so proud of you! Love the website especially the photos. Wish I could join. Hope to visit soon to give a hand. What role does Barcie play? Being a cat lover, I am advocating for her photo-op.
