2010 CSA shares

Radix Farm is now signing up members for the  2010 CSA season.   If you would like to receive a weekly share of fresh, healthy, seasonal produce and would like to support a new, local farm – email radixfarm (at) gmail.com. Shares will be sold first come, first served.

Please see the “About” and “CSA” tabs  above for more information on our growing practices and details of the CSA program.

Shares cost $625 (including delivery) for a 22-week season from June to November.  CSA members can choose to get their weekly share either on Tuesdays (from 5-7pm) in Mt. Pleasant, DC or on Fridays in Capitol Hill.  I am still looking for the best site for the Friday drop-off.   If you would like to join the CSA and have a site (e.g., a porch, backyard, community center) that may be suitable for a small CSA drop-off in Capitol Hill, please contact me. You don’t need to be there during the pick-up time (though you are welcome to be) and I would need room for one, occasionally two tables.

If you have a group of about 10 folks in your neighborhood or at your workplace in either DC or Prince Georges County, contact me to discuss the possibility of a drop-off to your site.

Those interested in becoming CSA members, please email radixfarm (at) gmail.com with:

your name,

phone number,

email address,

preferred drop-off day and site (Tuesday in Mt. Pleasant,  Friday  Capitol Hill, or if you have 10 folks in one other location in DC or Prince Georges County for Friday).

Right now the Tuesday Mt. Pleasant drop-off site is almost full, but there are shares available for Friday.

Looking forward to the season,
